1. Description:
Despite being set up to work on the vertical axis, horizontal injection molding machines and vertical injection molding machines both perform the same tasks. There are hydraulic, electric, and hybrid versions of this equipment, so it can meet a wide range of customer requirements. Vertical injection molding machines require very little floor space because of where they are located. For insert molding applications, vertical injection molding machines are ideal. Components can be simply positioned in the mold to be held in place by gravity prior to over molding. A shuttle or rotary table is typically used in vertical injection molding machines to accommodate loading and demolding within the machine's cycle time.
